The school has spacious well-ventilated classrooms with wide corridors giving ample light and ventilation for the classrooms. The corridors have bulletin boards where children put up charts and posters and inspiring quotes, thought for the day, etc which reinforces positive thinking.
The School Library is a full–fledged, open access system with over 9000 books collection. Colorful furniture, bright reading spaces, and an array of attractive books make the library a favorite place for children. Books can be borrowed by children and are issued online through library management software.
The classroom learning is supported with practical application experience in our well-equipped science labs. The School has Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories that are well equipped with apparatus for scientific experimentation and observation. The activities are designed for various levels & work with their respective curriculum, making learning an enriching experience.
School has well-equipped computer labs with state of the art systems with high-speed internet and well-networked computers. Students are encouraged to acquire technical skills needed to help in research and projects
Students learn and understand better when they see how things work in real life. Since traditional teaching methods don’t allow for such a process, We use Tata Class Edge Smart Class which helps to create an active learning experience with videos to connect textbook concepts to real life. The school has a smart classroom equipped with Digital Smart Boards, A Computer with a broadband connection to the central server and to the internet.
The School has a spacious auditorium equipped with the latest technology for enhanced dramatic effect and audience comfort with a seating capacity of around 1000 people. The auditorium has LCD projector, a good sound system and lights to host formal functions and cultural events like farewell parties for X Students, special guest lectures and other cultural activities.
At SJRKPS indoor sports are given importance too. We have an Indoor play area for students like Table Tennis Court , Badminton Court , Chess and Carrom.
At SJRKPS we give sports as much importance as academics. Students are encouraged to participate in sports during and after school hours. The School has basketball, throw ball, volleyball, Kho Kho and Kabaddi Courts .
The School has activity rooms for Nursery students which help to expose children to all processes involved in creating an object of art. At the end of the year all artwork, clay models and handicrafts are displayed during the Activity Day.
